Our team has been operating under the same ownership as Somerset Patios & Concrete for over 16 years, and we hold ourselves to the same standards of professionalism, insurance coverage, and accountability indoors as we do outdoors. Certificates of insurance are available on request before any work begins.
Do you use subcontractors?
Never. Every flooring installation we perform is completed by our own in-house crew — the same people who give you the estimate are the people who show up at your door, prep the subfloor, install the material, and walk you through the finished job. We believe subcontracting is where quality gets lost and accountability disappears, so we keep everything under one roof. One crew, one standard, one point of contact from start to finish.
How long does a typical install take?
Timelines depend on the size of the space, the flooring material, and the condition of the existing subfloor, but here are general guidelines for most Rochester-area homes. A single room of luxury vinyl plank or laminate typically takes one to two days. A standard hardwood installation runs two to four days per area, plus additional time if sanding and finishing on-site. Tile work usually takes three to five days because of mortar and grout cure times. Whole-home projects generally fall in the one-to-two-week range. We provide a firm timeline in writing with every estimate so you know exactly what to expect before we start.
